Brand Toolkit: Communications Handbook for the Royal Foundation Family

Guidance on the use of the Royal Foundation brand — a unifying toolkit for the suite of charities under the Royal Foundation, built to close the gaps in brand understanding between the subsidiary charities, where many materials were being misused or never authorised by core Comms.

What I did

  • Consulted across the Royal Foundation’s Comms and Marketing teams to identify bottlenecks and blind spots across the suite of charities
  • Developed unifying training and resource materials to ease access to all brands, standardising tone of voice, image selection and comms best practice
  • Designed new, clarified workflows placing the core Comms team at the heart of all planning and sign-off stages
  • Conducted a full audit of all existing brand materials to generate templates, checklists and workflows ensuring approval on all comms
  • Resourced and launched a centralised digital asset management system placing full control with core Comms across all brands
  • Reviewed ongoing in-house annual image queries for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, letting subsidiary teams self-serve pre-approved image sets and releasing core Comms from high-frequency requests
